Hallo Musikfreunde,
so langsam gehen wir in die Startlöcher für die Konzertsaison Herbst/ Winter 2013/14.

Die Verteilung des neuen Programmhefts läuft auf vollen Touren und schon diese Woche sind die ersten Tickets für Roger Chapman und einige andere Events in der Piesel verkauft worden. Das zeigt schon jetzt das, dass Programm gut ankommt. Zunächst wird die Piesel aber erst mal den Schlosshof rocken.

Floridian psychedelic noise weavers, ORBWEAVER, recently dropped their brain-fraying Strange Transmissions from the Neuralnomicon EP upon unsuspecting masses. Christened "twitchy, trippy tech death" by Invisible Oranges, the five-track Strange Transmissions from the Neuralnomicon is a harrowing, multifaceted sound voyage through modulating realities recorded at Miami's Pinecrust Studios with Jonathan Nunez of Torche and mixed/mastered with Brian Elliot at Mana Recording Studios (Hate Eternal, Cannibal Corpse, Goatwhore, Exhumed).

SECRETS OF THE SKY: Oakland Doom Ensemble Releases New Track From Debut Full-Length Via Lyric Video

As To Sail Black Waters,the debut full-length from Oakland, California's six-piece progressive doom ensemble, SECRETS OF THE SKY, nears release early this Autumn, today the outfit unveils another colossal track from the expansive album through a new lyric video for "Sunrise." Although it is the shortest of the four tracks the album bears, "Sunrise" still packs a nearly eight-minute surge of endlessly-expansive but utterly suffocating, slow-motion turmoil, its undertow pulling you into the unfathomable depths of your uncreation.

THE THEANDER EXPRESSION - new on AVENUE OF ALLIES on Sept. 20th, 2013!

Music was Andrée Theander’s constant companion since the age of ten when he first picked up a guitar. Soon after he also started writing music, took guitar lessons and joined the music program at the high school in his hometown Härnösand in Sweden. Later his musical studies led Andrée to the university in Piteå, Sweden, where he took classes to become a professional studio musician. To enhance his musical abilities he spent several months in the USA where he attended various courses at the Musicians Institute (GIT) in Los Angeles.
