Als Teil der New Wave Of British Heavy Metal machten sich Chrome Molly Mitte der 80er Jahre schnell einen Namen. Bekannt für ihre einheizende Live Performance wurden sie schnell zu einem Dauergast im Londoner Marquee Club, in welchem sie mehr als 20 mal spielten, traten im legendären New Yorker CBGB auf und waren Opening Act für Legenden wie für Ozzy Osbourne und Alice Cooper.
Die Mathcore Ur-Väter SikTh aus UK, die unlängst das Cover des indischen Rolling Stone zierten, brachten Anfang 2016 nach knapp zehn Jahren ihr erstes neues Material raus, in Form der EP "Opacities".
