The Red Rocker, Sammy Hagar scored the 11th Billboard Top 25 album of his career this week when his new album Sammy Hagar & Friends debuted at #23 on the US Billboard 200. The album marks the Rock & Roll Hall of Famer’s highest charting solo album in 18 years, since 1997’s Marching To Mars. The album also scored the #7 Rock Album and #5 Independent Album release for Frontiers Records this week.

Today the crypt keepers at Cvlt Nation unearth the second installment of twisted live visuals from AUTHOR & PUNISHER. Captured during a recent excursion supporting Philip H. Anselmo & The Illegals, The Technicians Of Distortion Tour marked the first time AUTHOR & PUNISHER draftsman Tristan Shone combined abstract film footage with his soul-swallowing slabs of mechanical doom.
PERSEKUTOR, from Târgu Mures, Transylvania, doesn't merely play Romanian black metal, they ARE Romanian black metal.
PERSEKUTOR's debut, Angels Of Meth, was recently hailed as "the best album nobody heard in 2006" by Decibel magazine. Upon release, the album received a perfect 10 out of 10 score in the same publication-the first black metal album (possibly the first album of any subgenre) to ever rate that highly in Decibel. Due to a "legal dispute" with Thousand Year Reich, the label that released Angels Of Meth, the album is nearly impossible to find.

Extremklettern und Rock´n´Roll haben manches gemeinsam, stellt Thomas Huber fest, einer der erfolgreichsten Allround-Bergsteiger der Gegenwart. „Es geht um Leidenschaft, ich brenne für beides. Was ich in der senkrechten Wand erlebe, finde ich auch in der Musik“, berichtet der ältere der beiden „Huberbuam“. Neben dem Bergsteigen singt Thomas in der Band PLASTIC SURGERY DISASTER. „Sowohl am Berg wie auf der Bühne taucht man ein, man denkt nicht mehr nach und handelt nur noch. Das ist ein Flow-Erlebnis, bei dem eine Menge Adrenalin frei wird.“
Seit 20 Jahren schon sind die drei Musiker im Musikgeschäft und bringen nun mit Stone Diamond aufregenden und ungestümen Sound ganz nach dem Motto Cologne meets Brooklyn auf die Bühne.
Am 17.10.2013 gibts heavy groovenden, Blues getriebenen Rock´n´Roll live im Kölner Blue Shell.
