ELYSION - neue Single & Video "GUARDIAN ANGEL"
Twenty years after their formation and following three acclaimed studio albums, Greek dark atmospheric metal force ELYSION return with their most ambitious and emotionally charged work to date.
The band proudly announce the release of their fourth studio album, “Identity”, which will be released on October 16, 2026 via Massacre Records on Digipak CD, Limited Vinyl LP and digital formats.
To celebrate the announcement, ELYSION have released the album's first single and official video, “Guardian Angel”, available now on all digital platforms.
A powerful anthem combining the band's trademark atmospheric darkness with soaring melodies and an unmistakable sense of determination, “Guardian Angel” perfectly captures the spirit of “Identity”. The song delivers a message of hope, strength and resilience, while the accompanying video addresses the issue of child abuse and highlights the urgent need for a safer world for children everywhere.

Produced by Fotis Benardo and ELYSION at Devasoundz Studio, mixed by Benardo and mastered by Nasos Nomikos at VU Productions, “Identity” finds the Greek quartet expanding every aspect of their sound while remaining faithful to the essence that has earned them a loyal international following. The album's artwork was created by Dimitris Tzortzis.
According to the band, “Identity” is much more than simply a collection of songs. Conceived as a celebration of ELYSION's twenty-year journey, the album serves as a heartfelt tribute to the fans who have supported the band throughout their career and to the worldwide hard rock and metal community as a whole.
While not a concept album, “Identity” is united by a common atmosphere and message. Its songs explore themes of self-discovery, personal struggle, resilience, belonging and unity in an increasingly fragmented world. The album showcases the unmistakable ELYSION sound while introducing a more dynamic, confident and adventurous approach to songwriting.
The band states:

“Identity” also includes two special guest appearances. Greek metal icon Sakis Tolis (Rotting Christ) lends his unmistakable voice to “Harvest”, while Konstantinos Togas (Nightrage, Herta) joins ELYSION on “The Last Ride”.
