GOROD - neuer Song & Video zur Albumankündigung
Gorod präsentieren „Forgiveness“, ihre erste neue Single, die Regisseur Sébastien Duattis auf der Leinwand zum Leben erweckt hat.
Mehr als nur ein Musikvideo: Es ist ein echter Kurzfilm mit einer Laufzeit von fast acht Minuten, der die zunehmende Bedrohung durch verheerende Großbrände aus der Sicht eines Vaters beleuchtet. Ein Vater, der von der Aussicht gequält wird, eine von Flammen verschlungene Welt zurückzulassen, hin- und hergerissen zwischen Reue, Schuld und der Last seiner eigenen Verantwortung für diese drohende Katastrophe.
„Forgiveness“ ist die erste Singleauskopplung aus Gorods kommendem Album „The Ember Gone“, das am 28. August über Base Productions und Season Of Mist erscheinen soll.
Über den Track sagt die Band:
„Musikalisch ist Forgiveness zweifellos unsere bisher progressivste Komposition – eine Synthese, in der Gorods technisches Können auf ausgereiftes Songwriting trifft und die Band damit Neuland betritt.
