Ride the Apocalypse is the 2nd single and title track of Vitamin X’s upcoming seventh album, out on March 13th via Svart Records. The song is a sarcastic, high-speed snapshot of the times we’re living in - a world racing toward collapse, driven by climate change, endless wars, and the global rise of right-wing politics.
It captures the feeling of moving at shattering speed, faster than light, straight toward the abyss - while governments, corporations, and public figures keep pretending nothing is wrong. Climate denial, political denial, moral denial: everything is “under control,” as long as growth continues and profits stay intact.
Musically, the track goes into raw and relentless Discharge style D-beat hardcore punk, opening with repetitive, pounding marching drum hits, before exploding into full D-beat speed.

Mastered by Joel Grind (Toxic Holocaust, Municipal Waste) and featuring apocalyptic artwork by Andrei Bouzikov (Municipal Waste), the record delivers 16 tracks of pure mayhem: faster, harder, and heavier than anything the band has done before.

For over two decades, Vitamin X has been one of the most explosive and influential forces in crossover hardcore punk. Emerging alongside the early wave of modern crossover and thrash-revival bands like Municipal Waste and Wolfbrigade, Vitamin X carved out a sound that is unmistakably their own: ultra-fast, razor-tight, socio-political, fun, and always completely unhinged.
They’ve released albums on iconic labels such as Southern Lord, Havoc, and Tankcrimes, and worked with legends like Steve Albini, John Baizley (Baroness) and J Mascis (Dinosaur Jr.).
