Although HELIX NOIRE initially started as a duo, they were never meant to be a studio project, but a real band – with the openness to grow and evolve on stage.
Their sound is clearly defined: mechanical groove, dark texture – forged for a world in full collapse. Heavy, relentless and uncompromising, yet with nuances that add depth and atmosphere to their songs.
With their debut EP “Becoming the Cure”, HELIX NOIRE deliver a powerful statement. The drums were performed by Norman Lonhard (Ex-Triptykon, Ex-Fear My Thoughts, now with Bunsenburner), while mix and mastering were handled by Tue Madsen (Meshuggah, Heaven Shall Burn, The Haunted). This team gives the release not only sonic weight but also international impact.
Fans of bands like Hatesphere, Slipknot or Fear Factory will find a new voice in HELIX NOIRE – uncompromising, energetic, and ready for the stage. Helix Noire are the soundtrack of a world in collapse – and with this, they are only just beginning.
