GALGE unleash their second album DØDELIG — Out October 3rd via Blood Blast Distribution.
DØDELIG is the second album from the Danish extreme metal band GALGE. Dødelig marks GALGE’s evolution toward a more experimental and progressive sound. It is an album steeped in genre-defying passages, bold songwriting choices, and a dedication to sporadic harmony. The band is heavier and more aggressive than ever before, with crushing soundscapes, feral vocals, and a deeper approach to composition. Lyrically, the album explores the space between tragedy and acceptance.
Alongside the ever-evolving riffs and melodies, it tells a story of how misfortune can transform an otherwise peaceful person into something hateful. Dødelig also explores how the recklessness of others can threaten to take away what means the most to someone—and the subsequent longing to move on, escape the hopeless narrative created by tragedy, and rediscover the joy of life.
