Metal has a fresh new flavour. Following the release of a new single last month (Amplify), Shatterface releases a brutal EP under the title of "Deviate".
Already known for a signature sound forging Industrial beat driven soundscapes with crushing Groove Metal guitars, Shatterface has remained true to their roots and delivered a product that certainly will not disappoint fans of the band and metalheads alike while also exploring some new, more melodic territories. This will be the 2nd EP added to their catalog in as many years.
Deviate embraces and flaunts the modern and heavy nature of the Industrial and Nu Metal genres and fuses them with timeless techniques and elements of the golden era of Groove and Thrash Metal, producing a blended mix of new and old that will attract both young and old school metalheads alike. A more mature side of Shatterface is on display in this release. Beyond the musical and instrumental growth of the group, the EP also explores lyrical themes of trauma, rage and personal acceptance of the unchangeable nature of humanity.
