S8NT ELEKTRIC veröffentlichen Single "XTC"
Die aufstrebende Hard Rock Formation S8NT ELEKTRIC hat sich Long Branch Records angeschlossen und stellt heute ihre neue Single "XTC" vor.
Die von Frontfrau und Sängerin Bri Carbajal und Gitarrist, Songwriter und Produzent Niko Tsangaris gegründete Band aus Los Angeles, Kalifornien, tourte die letzten Sommer fleißig durch Europa und spielte im Vorprogramm von Künstlern wie Wolfmother, Mammoth WVH, MC5, Dirty Honey und WARGASM sowie auf großen Festivals wie dem Bottlerock, Rockville, Prague Rocks und Azkena Rocks. Jeder kennt das uralte Rock'n'Roll-Klischee „Living on the edge“, aber S8NT ELEKTRIC passten nie ganz in dieses Klischee. Sie leben ihr Leben lieber „OFF THE EDGE“, indem sie sich ihren tiefsten Ängsten stellen und ihre größten Träume verwirklichen - so wie im Video zur neuen Single festgehalten.

"XTC“ ist die erste Single aus S8NT ELEKTRICs Debütalbum "OFF THE EDGE", das 2025 erscheinen wird.
"I came up with the original melodies and lyrics for 'XTC' after the first time I did Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu", erzählt Gitarrist Niko Tsangaris. "I had always wanted to fight, but I always felt that I was 'too weak'. However that day I pushed through my fear and had my first class. I got my ass kicked, to say the least. But I left with such excitement and joy because I had finally conquered my fear. In the car, I put on the instrumental track and the first lyric that came out of me was 'I feel so alive'. That feeling of pushing past my own limitations was so freeing. And since the beginning of this year it has become our mission statement as a band, to live 'Off the Edge'. To take the leap into the unknown, to adventure, and to realize our true potential! So we figured the most fitting way to express that would be to skydive with all our bandmates for the music video. It was all of our first time and it was exhilarating! The first thing we all said when we got down was 'We have to do that again'! That is the exact feeling that we aim to capture with everything we do, and we’re only upping the anti from here."
