Deutsche Crossover Band SLOPE veröffentlicht vierte Single “WHY SAD” vom kommenden Album “Freak Dreams”.
Drei Wochen vor der Veröffentlichung ihres Albums präsentieren die deutschen Crossover-Musiker SLOPE die vierte Single und das Video WHY SAD aus ihrem mit Spannung erwarteten neuen Album Freak Dreams, das am 2. Februar 2024 über Century Media Records erscheinen wird.

IGNITE veröffentlichen “Done Digging The Grave (feat. Andrew Neufeld)”
Die fünfköpfige Melodic-Hardcore-Band IGNITE aus Orange County beginnt das neue Jahr mit "Done Digging the Grave", einer brandneuen Single und einem Video, das auch eine Premiere in der langen Karriere der Band bietet: einen Gastsänger.
“’Done Digging the Grave’ was written about the difficulty to find optimism in a world where the hardest working do not receive the rewards they deserve and where kindness is only celebrated when it benefits us monetarily”, sagt Nik Hill (guitar), der die Lyrics geschrieben hat. “Being hopeless together is the best medicine for a world set on keeping us apart. This song’s negative energy burns clean and leaves nothing but positivity in its wake.”
Brett Rasmussen (bass) über die Zusammenarbeit mit Andrew Neufeld (Comeback Kid/Sights and Sounds): “This song was specifically written with having a guest vocalist in mind. When we heard the vocal tracks that Andrew added to the music we were completely blown away and in love with how the intensity of his screaming fit perfectly into the track next to Eli’s voice. This is the first time IGNITE has ever had a guest vocalist on any song.”

Zwei Wochen vor der Veröffentlichung ihres mit Spannung erwarteten sechsten Studioalbums veröffentlicht die australische Progressive-Metal-Band Caligula's Horse den dritten Track "The Stormchaser" vom kommenden Album Charcoal Grace.
"The Stormchaser" erscheint zusammen mit einem spannenden Musikvideo, das eine bewegende Geschichte erzählt, die die emotionale Seite des Songs unterstreicht. Lead-Gitarrist Sam Vallen sagt über den neuen Track: "The Stormchaser is about the divide we all saw through the pandemic. How, rather than banding together to overcome the challenge of those years, many chose to serve themselves at the expense of their community and their society. Watching this, as we all did, was a humbling and infuriating experience, and it has lingered in all of us. Musically, The Stormchaser is quite different from those we've revealed so far from Charcoal Grace, emphasising space, dynamics, and timbre with a particular focus on the emotional range of Jim Grey's vocal.”

Steve Hackett veröffentlicht ‘Wherever You Are’; zweiten Track von ‘The Circus and the Nightwhale’
Der legendäre Rockgitarrist Steve Hackett wird am 16. Februar 2024 sein neues Studioalbum "The Circus And The Nightwhale" über InsideOut Music veröffentlichen. Das Konzeptalbum "The Circus And The Nightwhale" ist ein Rite-of-Passage-Album, in dessen Mittelpunkt eine junge Figur namens Travla steht. Die 13 Tracks von "The Circus And The Nightwhale" haben für den Musiker einen autobiografischen Aspekt, der über sein 30. Solo Release sagt: “I love this album. It says the things I’ve been wanting to say for a very long time.”
