Resolve - neue Single / Video 'D.G.G.R.S'
RESOLVE veröffentlichen ihrer neue Single 'D.G.G.R.S', die wörtlich unter die Haut geht und ab sofort auf allen digitalen Streaming-Plattformen weltweit erhältlich ist.
Der neue Track 'D.G.G.R.S' stammt aus ihrem kommenden Debütalbum »Between Me and The Machine«, welches am 26. November via Arising Empire erscheint.
"D.G.G.R.S is very much the party song on the album. It came towards the very end of the writing process, and it’s one of the few that was created by the three of us in the same room. I remember Nathan (drummer) jumping up and down in the studio as if he was at a show to figure out the right tempo for the track - 116bpm, if you really want to know!"
"Lyrically though, it’s quite the opposite: D.G.G.R.S is us giving a big middle finger toward those who won’t be around to suffer the consequences of their actions on our dying planet. But notice the use of the first person plural within the lyrics: we’re all part of the problem to a degree, and we should be praising those who strive to do better instead of getting lost in silly debates about who’s right and who’s wrong. There’s just no time for this anymore."

Sänger Anthony Diliberto, der Bassist Robin Mariat und der Schlagzeuger Nathan Mariat haben ihre Reise im Jahr 2016 begonnen, nachdem sich ihre früheren Projekte getrennt hatten und ihre Absichten darauf abzielten, eine Band für die Ewigkeit zu werden. Mit der Debüt-EP »Reverie« machten sie 2017 ihren ersten Eindruck, bevor sie 2018 mit der eigenständigen Single ‚Carmela‘ folgten. Erst 2019 fühlten sie sich in ihrem Sound wirklich zu Hause.
Das war in Form von 'Pendulum', einer Sammlung von drei Songs, welche nicht nur den wunderschön knüppelnden und dicht expansiven Sound repräsentierten, der in ihren Köpfen ruhte, sondern sie auch auf Spotify's New Core, New Metal Tracks und Kickass Metal Playlists katapultierte.
