Twin Flame veröffentlichen ihr 4. Album
Finnish alternative rock/grunge band Twin Flame released their fourth album "20th Anniversary for Nothing Is Real".
A.M.Heickell comments:
"I was a long time ago dedicated my life for building guitars and had forgotten about the idea of releasing anything. Then a secret was revealed to me (Ayahuasca ceremony )and I was asked not to tell about it. Of course I'm gonna let you know about it, in some way.
So then came an idea of a song that has everything you do not wish to hear, nor anyone will tell. A Song about the secret that one yet knows but proves “you just haven't seen enough” Duality could have not been made without this music cause I had to underline to you that I indeed know what you do not know, maybe ever. Only these kinda songs can be made by someone that was in contact by what above Our God. If you do not believe this, its easy enough to check this, just take +7 grams magic mushrooms and ask “What is behind the mask of God?”.
I even began to lose sanity (again) so much that the voices returned with a vengeance.
They kept insisting not to make the song “Duality”. Didn’t believe them, and things got a bit “out of hand” and the life lesson ended at the mental hospital (second time) with police escort, after police dogs had chase me in the woods. Funny how you don’t stop yourself when your own dog starts to speak to you. That's insanity for you. Schizophrenia on command” feels like a super power when making music, but very, very real and dangerous.
The idea of a real vinyl Lp was almost done it would have been one single at the Start then side-a. Then 2nd single and followed by side-b. all the songs as one long piece as revenge for today's use it only once n to the trash.. but since digital platforms are only single based.. no this wasn’t the reason. I feel pity all them six listeners, so I might later on release a Deluxe-vinyl as a FREE version. I Hate music to be not free. Only live shows should be paid case that takes the time of the artist. Music itself is only a commercial piece for the live show.
This is 20th Anniversary edition includes songs that I have left out in spite. I think it was about 98 when our producer (Kari Kalèn: Tuomari Nurmio, Leevi and the Leavings) had Atte Blom (Love Records. Johanna) to listen Candlelight and he said. “This is far too Heavy no one is going to buy this” this was before anyone had learned about HIM and Ville Valo. So now you get to hear Candlelight, An angel, Shrug to my being and LSD as they were then back in the day.
Every minute and every second is build in a way that this LP can be used as psychedelic tool. You can dream a dream with Albert Hofmann for 16 hours and or pick mushrooms in a total darkness for five hours and it WILL all be all right.
These early songs prove that one doesn’t have to learn to rock, some of us just are born with it. You can learn every single lick some Yngwie Malmsteen plays, yet you cannot ever make anything original, that has a soul. A sense of style is something you have to live NOT learn.
Jani Lehmonen is the co-writer on the record. He restored my faith in Music again. He is to me what George Martin were for The Beatles. And he wrote all orchestra parts to these songs. Jani also mastered this record. And Special thanXXX to Susanna for ALL guitar sounds.
The record is dedicated to the band Nothing Is Real.
