Nuclear feiern 10 Jahre von 'Ten Broken Codes'
"It is crazy to think it's been ten years since we released this album," exclaims guitarist Francisco Haussmann. "I remember we just wanted to play as fast as possible and make a record without any overproduction or too much editing.
We just wanted to bring the stench of the rehearsal room into the speakers and it turned out great. No metronome, no pre-recorded guitar tracks, just 1-2-3-4 go!"
Released May 2008 Ten Broken Codes hit the thrash scene with an almighty thud! A violent, cutting edge thrash attack well-received by both fans and critics and which ultimatly landed the band their first foray outside South America. "This may not seem like a big thing to some," says Haussmann, "but for small band from Chile back then... it really was a big deal for us." Later the band would sign to Candlelight Records, record with legendary producers such as Russ Russell, release another two studio albums, two live albums, a live DVD, tour Europe, grace festival stages across the world... and as they say... the rest is history.
To mark the 10 year anniversary of the records release the band have teamed up with Sick Bangers to re-issue the album in vinyl format, strictly limited to 300 copies. This vinyl edition comes with a new layout, renewed artwork, never before seen pictures and a special vinyl mastering. "I'm pretty sure everyone will enjoy the new thick and warm sound of it; Audio Custom Studio did a great job and we are pretty excited and cannot wait for this vinyl to come out!"
