Q / Where and when your group was established?
A / Dead End Finland was established in Helsinki. With this squad, we have been
operating since 2008.
Q / We know that this ”Season of Withering” is not your first release. Do you deny this?
A / No, we do not deny. We came out in 2012 with a publication entitled ”Stain of Disgrace”.
Q / We know that your first publication was well received, and you got a lot of supporters.
What do you want to achieve with this release?
A / We wanted to continue more or less on the same track, but also wanted to make the new
publication even better than the first one. We are now tougher and meaner.
Q / Last summer, you were supposed to hit on several major Finnish festivals, such as the Nummirock and Kivenlahtirock. Why didn’t you actually strike?
A / It is true that we have been asked to strike in many places. However, we refused, because we were not willing to come out before we are perfectly ready. But when we do come out, it will be noticed.
Q / We are able to find features of several styles in how you operate. We classify your
actions as melodic metal. How do you comment on this?
A / We do not agree or deny. That’s your opinion. We believe our style represents
Dead End Finland.
