AEONs aktuelles Album 'Aeons Black' erscheint am 18. Januar auf Vinyl!

Metal Blade werden am 18. Januar eine Vinylversion des aktuellen Albums der schwedischen Satanic Death Metaller AEON veröffentlichen! Aeons Black erscheint als schwarzes 180 Gramm Vinyl in einem Gatefoldsleeve, limitiert auf insgesamt 500 Exemplare. Die CD-Version des Albums ist bereits letzten November erschienen.

Die LP erscheint in blau/schwarz marmorierten Vinyl in einer regulären LP-Hülle, limitiert auf insgesamt 500 Kopien.

Die US-Extreme Metaller JOB FOR A COWBOY kehren im März nach Europa zurück um die diesjährige Bonecrusher-Tour zu headlinen!

JOB FOR A COWBOY freuen sich schon mal vor: "We are all excited to announce that we will be heading back over to Europe this spring to participate in the Bonecrusher Festival. After some long and hard contemplation (uhh huh huh huh), we decided it would be best to get back over to the lands of beer and honey to throw down with our friends in Beneath the Massacre and cruise around with some other cool bands and try and have a good time. It will be our first time headlining a proper tour overseas in just about 2 years, and we are ready to play some tunes, drink some brews and crush some snacks. Come get your bone crushed with a bunch of bearded dudes on high protein diets playing music way too fast!"

NEAERA veröffentlichen neues Album 'Ours Is The Storm' am 1. März!

Deutschlands zerstörerischste Extremeband NEAERA wird ihr neues Album Ours Is The Storm am 1. März via Metal Blade Records veröffentlichen.

Sagt die Band: "We are very proud of this record and the hard work we put into making it. We hope that you will be as excited about it as we are. Once again, we trusted our good friend Alexander Dietz of Chemical Burn studio with the production as well as the mixing process. The mastering was handled by Tue Madsen at Antfarm studio. We want to thank Alex for his sheer will and tireless work on this record, and Tue for bringing out the details and making them shine. This record is one of the most open sounding and versatile we have done so far. We want to challenge ourselves and give you guys something new everytime we step up to the plate. There will be some surprises on this one, we are confident you will enjoy the result of our approach. The artwork for the album was done by our friend Markus Ruf (www.markusruf.de) who did an excellent job in creating the cover and visualizing the title. Terje Johnsen did the packaging for the limited edtition and created a simple yet exclusive look for it. Thanks very much to both guys. We will keep you updated on any new developments regarding the album!"

Das neue Album erscheint am 18. Januar als Digi-CD via Metal Blade Records!

Die griechischen Düster-Symphonic Metaller NIGHTFALL haben die zweite Single ihres anstehenden neuen Albums Cassiopeia veröffentlicht!

Surft mal zur Website des Legacy, Europas größtes Extremmetalmagazin, und hört euch Colonize Cultures an!

NIGHTFALL über Colonize Cultures: "The wheel of human race is moving towards by instinct. Slowly like a ferocious heavy tank roaring in muddy terrain and bravely like an astronaut in his capsule traveling to no man land. The creation of new lanes to earthly havens for the countless of restless souls to follow enormously is a fascinating old story. The Colonization is an unstoppable process that soon will reach extraterrestrial lands. A new Culture is imperative for smooth transition to the new era."

Cassiopeia erscheint am 18. Januar als Digi-CD und wird natürlich auch als digitaler Download zu beziehen sein.

Die Aufnahmen fanden an vier verschiedenen Orten statt, was für NIGHTFALL nichts Ungewöhnliches ist. Vocals und Keyboards wurden in Griechenland aufgenommen (Soundflakes Studios & Cyberia), während die Drums in den deutschen Soundlodge Studios eingehämmert wurden. Gitarren und Bass wurden im amerikanischen Nashville in den Boomcave Studios eingespielt.

Im Vergleich zum Vorgänger Astron Black & The Thirty Tyrants versteckt sich auf Cassiopeia wesentlich mehr Old School Heavy Metal Spirit in jedem Riff. Mercyful Fates und King Diamonds Gitarrenarbeit lassen grüßen, immer mit dem typischen NIGHTFALL-Stempel versehen.

SHAI HULUDs Matt Fox hierzu: "The opportunity to tour Europe is not something we will ever take for granted. Before our first trip in 1999, the idea of touring another country was something only "real" bands did. We were kids, fanboys ripping off our favorite bands. All we ever wanted to do was try to make someone else feel something resembling what we felt when listening to the bands who inspired us. We never thought our name or music would get out of South Florida. Somehow it made it to Europe, and we graciously followed.

Since 1999 we have now been to Europe countless times, having played some our most memorable, emotional, and altogether unbelievable shows there, across many different countries. Where we once had what some refer to as "fans," we now have friends, some so close they are practically family. We cherish the relationships we have made in Europe: personal, musical, lyrical, and in most cases all of the above.

In 2013 we are returning to Europe with Propagandhi, one of our all time favorite bands. This will be yet another extremely special tour we are fortunate enough to share with our European family. Young and not as young, faces new and familiar, we're grateful to make new memories and rage with everyone soon!"

Über Reach Beyond the Sun:
Reach Beyond the Sun, der vierte Eintrag in Shai Huluds Diskographie, erscheint im Februar 2013. Produziert wurde die Scheibe vom aktuellen New Found Glory-Gitarrist Chad Gilbert, der bekanntermaßen auch auf Huluds Debüt Hearts Once Nourished With Hope And Compassion hinter dem Mikro stand. So hat er neben der Produktion auch diesmal den Gesang auf der neuen Platte übernommen, sein erster Gesangsbeitrag für die Band in über zehn Jahren. Ähnlich wie die vorherigen Shai Hulud-Alben begann die Entstehungsgeschichte von Reach Beyond the Sun schon vor ein paar Jahren, bevor es ins Studio ging. Der direkte Vorgänger Misanthropy Pure war ein glattes, metallisches, rasendes Meisterwerk. Im Kontrast dazu stehen die neuen, mehr aus dem Bauch kommenden und intuitive komponierten Stücke von Reach Beyond the Sun, die die rauen Hardcore/Punk-Wurzeln der Band wieder mehr durchscheinen lassen. Langzeitbassist Mad Matt Fletcher versichert: "Anyone who really knows the band will agree this album is our definitive sound, encompassing all of our different influences and styles. Yep, this sounds like Shai Hulud."
