“O Egoísta” - neue Single inkl. Video von Maieuttica
As a band that has always strived to go beyond the obvious when it comes to publicizing their actions and images, it was only to be expected that the brazilian band Maieuttica would break their own standards when it came time to show the world a new single, and it was exactly what happened for the release of the song “O Egoísta”.
Preceded by a conceptual campaign on the band's social networks with historical and fictional characters and personalities of our time that reflect the selfishness in their actions and a new visual identity, the single “O Egoísta” is the first unpublished release of the current Maieuttica formation that it features vocalists Allan Sampaio and Frank 'Lee' Lima, guitarist Lucas Lopez, bassist Bruno 'Matilas' and drummer Arthur Souza, recorded at Casa Verde studio (@studio_casa_verde), with mixing done at Atom Music Lair studio (@atommusiclair).
For vocalist Frank 'Lee' Lima, the single “O Egoísta” represents "a watershed for 'MTTK', as this time we preferred to deliver a much more direct message both in the instrumental and in the lyrics that were choked in our throats due to to the current moment we live in and the new line-up, instead of the more metaphorical way we used to deal with previous albums."
